HYAENAS is an Indie Alt Pop band known for their fierce energy, authentic connection, and sound that fuses 80s nostalgia with modern production. Blending pulsing synths, gritty guitars, and emotionally charged lyrics, their music sits between The Go-Go’s and The Beaches, exploring the complexities of human nature through a lens both bold and vulnerable. The group is made up of two married couples — guitarist/vocalist Sophie Foster and drummer Jen Foster, and bassist Jessie Robertson and synth player Luvia Petersen. Hyaenas is carving out a space of their own with songs that hit hard and stay with you.

Since debuting in 2021 opening for The Pack AD, Hyaenas have built a name across Canada. Their debut EP Little Trophy (2023) sparked sold-out Vancouver shows, headlining festivals, and support slots for Kimmortal, ACTORS, and Shred Kelly. Now Hyaenas ushers in a new era with their sophomore release Human Nature, a ten-track exploration of burnout, gender politics, and self-preservation. 
 

The party continues with SISTA J  AKA DJ JOAN ST. KTTS spinning the tunes and pumping the dance floor!
