Who would use Vtix Online?

Any individual, group or organization that wants to provide their ticket buyers with an option to purchase General Admission or Reserved Seating event tickets online. Clubs, associations, schools, parties, seminars, concerts, sporting events... any event that requires admission. Even facilities using industry available box office software can take advantage of our services.

What is the cost?

The only cost to you the promoter/organizer is a $15.00 setup fee for a general admission event (free if we also print your tickets) and a $75.00 setup fee for reserved seating ($45.00 if we also print your tickets). Our service fee of $1.49 per ticket plus credit authorization charges which can be passed on to the ticket buyer or absorbed in part or in whole, in the cost of the ticket.

How does it work?

We send you a link to your own event page so you can post it on your web site, flyers or other social media. Once your buyers complete a transaction online to purchase tickets, the system automatically sends them a sale confirmation email outlining all the details of their transaction. They print out the email and bring it to your event for admission in exchange for an actual ticket. Alternatively, you can choose to have the system send your ticket buyer an 'e-ticket' which eliminates the need for a physical ticket and can be scanned at the door.

You have complete secure access to information about your event from the time the event goes on sale until financial settlement. You can check sales, view, export and print attendance and financial reports at any time. You can also transact your own sales using the Promoter Interface.

How does reconciliation work?

If you need access to your funds generated by ticket sales prior to your event, we can redirect this money to your bank account as the sales occur. Optionally, we can collect the funds on your behalf and disburse them on the next business day after the completion of your event. We email an Event Reconciliation Report and issue a cheque or initiate a wire transfer within 1 business day after report approval.

How do I sign up?

Download the Vtix Online Event Requirements document that outlines all the information we need to set up your event online which can be forwarded directly to or faxed to 604-241-7727. Once we have received this information, your event can be listed online usually within 1 business day.
