ScanTix:

Although Vtix stock contains safety features to ensure authenticity and limit fraud, our ScanTix software represents the ultimate in security. With ScanTix, you can scan each ticket as it is presented to determine its validity. Once the ticket is scanned, ScanTix compares the number associated with the barcode on the ticket to a list previously imported into ScanTix. If a match is confirmed, the barcode number is recorded. If the barcode is a duplicate or does not correspond to a number in the list an ‘Invalid’ message appears on screen.

To take advantage of the ScanTix software, you must have;

• Tickets printed by Vtix that contain a barcode. The list of barcode numbers can be generated by you or Vtix.
• Printed tickets with barcodes using our Printix Pro software. The same basic numerical sequence generated by Printix must be re-created in Excel and imported in to ScanTix.
• Printed tickets using our Printix Pro software with the Merge option. This enables you to customize the barcode list for additional security.
• Tickets printed with barcodes through another source but have access to the original list to import into ScanTix.

At the end of the event, ScanTix generates a summary of all Valid, Invalid and Duplicate tickets and a total of all tickets scanned providing a complete audit trail. This report can be easily exported back to Excel.

Black Lights:

Are you concerned about security of these tickets? Did you know that all tickets printed by Vtix contain a custom ultra-violet ink pattern on the back of each ticket?

To take advantage of this security feature, we also sell hand-held Black Lights that are able to detect this ultra-violet ink. Scan each ticket as they are presented to ensure authenticity and eliminate fraud.

Flic Scanners:

We primarily sell Flic scanners in conjunction with our ScanTix software but are ideal for inventory, assets, documents, pharmaceuticals, time tasks and anything that can be tracked or counted. Magtek Mini Swipe Reader:

We primarily sell Mini Swipe Readers in conjunction with our ScanTix software. The Mini Magnetic Card Swipe reader family can read ISO and AAMVA card formats. The readers are available in various interface options. These readers provide a small package that is only slightly longer than a credit card. They can be mounted either with the self-mounting adhesive strips or by using the embedded threaded mounting hardware. Available in wedge or USB interface.
